In compliance with the provincial Rowan’s Law on Concussion Awareness, all parents, players, coaches, and field volunteers are required to review a guide on Concussion Awareness provided by the Province of Ontario and sign a confirmation of the guide.
There are three different guides available for review:
- Rowan’s Law Guide – Ages 10 and under
- Rowan’s Law Guide – Ages 11 to 14
- Rowan’s Law Guide – Ages 15 and up; Parents; Coaches; Referees; and Field officials
The SDSA will have in its registration form a section for the Rowan’s Law confirmation. Volunteers will have a separate form that will need to be signed for the Rowan’s Law confirmation.
